Fresh water in each of the rooms with glasses. Q-tips in the bathroom, Bamboo toilet paper + Kleenexes. A detailed, thoughtfully laid out welcome book along with snacks to greet me in the kitchen. The lighting was super cozy and warm. The turntable and records with a glowing salt lamp made for an enchanted living room. The instructions were clear and organized with all the essentials for making a fire, with several options of fire pits to choose from. There was a guitar and a game drawer.
Beautiful walking trails that are marked well. The dog and cats were cute and friendly.
You must also take a sauna and cold plunge. It is glorious! An oasis in the woods with mints and electrolytes to refresh you after. I will be back!

There are not a lot of restaurants/places to eat around (as is explained in communications and the check-in book), but everything you need in the kitchen. The property has some lovely walking paths, and there's nice hiking at Banning State Park nearby. Tip: The radiators are a bit noisy, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The bedroom with the balcony has a window blackout curtain, but some light does come through the balcony curtains, so an eye mask is also good to bring.

Mosquito tip: The hosts already mentioned this so we knew to be prepared. If going in the summer and you like to avoid deet, bring a bug suit or hat just in case. The bug suits were extra helpful for the forest bathing experience and one of us wore the head part during the cold plunge and that was helpful. There were also times we walked around and the mosquitos didn’t care.

Accommodations are very nice but we would not return... read more for the following reasons: 1) The spiral staircase was a cumbersome and we didn’t like having to carry our suitcases up the narrow, spiral steps. Also, didn’t like having to go up & down it every time we need to use the bathroom. 2) we were swarmed by mosquitoes every time we went out, and many got in the house even though we tried to enter quickly. Also, our car was filled with them when unpacking and repacking the car. We weren’t able to enjoy the outdoors either because of the mosquitoes.

Taking full advantage of the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge tub made our stay even more magical; with Leigha & Travis calmly guiding us through the sequences of hot, cold, and rehydration. It even snowed a bit the night we were out in the tubs, which was just so nice. The jacuzzi tub inside the Air B&B was also super fun since we don't have anything like that in our home. Such a wonderful place to spend a few days. I suggest it for couples, a small family, or maybe two couples looking to get away from the city.
