Join us for a guided nature and forest therapy walk through Crosby Farm Regional Park. Located just off Shepherd Road near the Watergate Marina, Crosby Farm Regional Park is the largest natural park in the Saint Paul system of parks and features shady, floodplain forests and adjacent steep, wooded slopes cloaked mostly in oak forest, a scattering of wetlands, two small lakes (Crosby Lake and Upper Lake), and the Mississippi River shoreline with a view of Pike Island. An area long-inhabited and tended by the Dakota people before colonization, this land and water is presently managed and tended by the Mississippi National River Recreation Area, St. Paul Parks and Recreation, and Friends of the Mississippi River. During the walk, participants will be guided through a Forest Bathing practice by ANFT Certified Guide Amy Haben.
Please note:
*We recommend participants arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of our walk and plan to stay through the scheduled duration. Due to the guided nature of Forest Bathing, we are unable to accommodate late attendance.
*There are public restrooms or a port-a-potty on-site, next to the main parking lot.
*The walk will continue rain or shine, except in cases of severe weather.
*Free parking next to meeting location.
*Detailed information about the walk, what to bring, and on-site amenities will be provided in a registration confirmation letter.
