Join us for a guided nature and forest therapy walk through Reservoir Woods. Located one mile southwest of the Dale Street exit off Highway 36, Reservoir Woods is a 115-acre Roseville park with scant development — instead, it boasts wildflowers, hilly terrain, pine groves, wetlands, prairie grasses, and oak savanna. During the walk, participants will be guided through a Shinrin-Yoku (“forest bathing”) practice by Leigha Horton, Certified Guide and Practicum Mentor with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs.
Please note:
*We recommend participants arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of our walk and plan to stay through the scheduled duration. Due to the guided nature of Shinrin Yoku, we are unable to accommodate latecomers.
*There is no running water on-site – be sure to bring drinking water.
*A single port-a-potty is located at the Alta Vista entrance, and another located near the dog park entrance on Lexington. Please plan accordingly.
*The walk will continue rain or shine, except in cases of severe weather.
*Free, accessible parking is available on-site.
Full details, including specific meeting location, what to bring, and on-site amenities will be provided in a registration confirmation letter.
