Join us for a guided nature and forest therapy walk through the Whitetail Woods Regional Park. Located in Apple Valley, just 20 minutes south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, Lebanon Hills Regional Park is the largest park in the Dakota County park system. Containing almost 2,000 acres, the park offers miles of trails and many lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation and environmental education. Dakota County Parks is actively restoring more than 1,100 acres of prairie and forest within Lebanon Hills Regional Park and planting more than 3,000 new trees and shrubs.
Please note:
*All registrations for this event will take place through the Farmington Community Education website (registration link above). Sorry, Silvae Spiritus-issued discounts cannot be used for this walk.
*We recommend participants arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of our walk and plan to stay through the scheduled duration. Due to the guided nature of Shinrin Yoku, we are unable to accommodate latecomers.
*The nearest restroom to our walk is at our trailhead.
*The walk will continue rain or shine, except in cases of severe weather.
*Accessible parking is available on-site.
*Covid-19: All visitors ages 2 and over must wear masks in any indoor building, regardless of vaccination status.
